Honesty policy

Free to read. Free to get listed.

Not Hookcheck. Not a Stripe audit. Not AEAT. One static site: this thing died, here is what still does the job. Nobody pays to jump the queue.

How a row gets in

Editorial, 30 rows at launch. A replacement has to do a job the dead tool actually did — not a job a vendor wishes buyers would confuse. Booking links are listed under Clockwise only with that caveat. Klaviyo is not listed under Agency. Email hello@dead.tools if we missed you.

What you do not buy

There is no featured slot, no Polar checkout, and no vendor login. If a later version charges for placement, it will be labeled. This version does not.

Kill rule

Twenty vendor DMs. One Indie Hackers post (and HN if it has legs). If nobody uses it in two weeks, this shuts down the same way the tools it lists did. The point is a weekend of stranded demand, not a zombie directory.

Corrections

Wrong fact, dead link, or a replacement that does not do the job: hello@dead.tools. We will change the copy.
