Productiv

SaaS management platform. Wiped in August. You are rebuilding discovery from scratch.

Shut down 23 days ago Company ceased operations. Access ended 5 Aug. Production data destroyed.

What it actually did

Productiv was a SaaS management platform: app discovery, usage, license utilization, spend and renewals for IT, finance and procurement. The wind-down notice said operations ceased 6 August 2026, access ended a day earlier, and production systems, data stores and backups were destroyed.

Ramp or a corporate card is spend, not a SaaS management platform. IGA tools (Lumos) govern access, they do not replace license-utilization analytics. Torii is the most-cited 1:1 for IT; Zylo if finance owned the relationship.

Replacement Does this job Honest gap Their price
Discovery, usage, owners, spend, renewals, workflows (reclaim, offboarding, access reviews). Gartner MQ Leader 2026. Vendor-written 'alternatives' posts exist; still the closest functional match. Enterprise sales cycle. Enterprise quote
Spend, utilization, vendor/contract intelligence. The row if procurement owned Productiv, not IT. Discovery is generally cited as weaker than Torii/Productiv. Stronger on the money. Enterprise quote
App discovery through identity, access reviews, automation on top of the catalog. IGA-shaped. If Productiv was your spend and usage brain, confirm they cover finance feeds, not just SSO. Quote
Provisioning, offboarding, policy, license reclaim, file-sharing governance. Ops automation, not Productiv's discovery-and-spend core. Wrong buy if you only needed a SaaS inventory. Enterprise quote
SaaS buying + management: catalog, renewals, procurement workflows. More 'we help you buy' than 'we are the system of record for usage.' Check if IT will live in it daily. Quote
Trelica, now 1Password SaaS Manager: shadow-IT discovery, lifecycle, license waste, 350+ integrations. Governance and access. Not a like-for-like Productiv spend platform. Fine as the security half of a split stack. 1Password Business add-on, quote
AI + SaaS spend, vendor intel, optional managed negotiation. Spend/procurement motion. Weaker as a daily IT catalog. They wrote their own Productiv page; read it as a vendor page. Quote
IGA-for-the-rest-of-us: app inventory, access requests, reviews. Access, not SaaS FinOps. Will not replace license-utilization analytics or renewal calendars on its own. Quote
Enterprise SAM: discovery across hybrid assets, license optimization, spend. Heavy. If you only needed Productiv's SaaS catalog, this is a platform program, not a weekend migration. Enterprise quote
